After years of conditioning, she has now entered the Azure Empire Military Academy to fulfill Reggie's hopes and expectations. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A U T H O R ' S N O T E: I'm terrible sorry that this IAQ had to be split into two pieces. I blame myself for cluttering the first page with shit that nobody cared about such as table of contents, FAQ, thanx to, etc. I will try to minimize that during this part. I'm not exactly sure why the server (Beseen) would only let a page contain so much info but it was either this or considerably shortening the game. Any more FAQ or Thanks need be mentioned will be put on this page. Let's get to the game! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- S O E s: 10. Now, 3 years later, you are 12, you are enrolled in the Azure Military Academy. Miriel is given her first assignment by the military instructor. Your first assignment is to take control of a Gundarg outpost in a magical cave. You will be ranked according to your performance. Head to the south a little ways and you will find the cave occupied by Gundarg. When you enter the cave, two Gundarg guards rush you, but are easily taken out. There are several winding passages, many guarded by soldiers, but it is well worth taking the treasure chests for 1 extra credit and booty. When you enter the labratory area, choose not to fight scientists and you will be able to extra information from them. When you reach the part where you can climb the four stone towers, you will find Gundarg Dragooners there. When you finally reach the inner sanctum, you will talk with Sethram, and will have to fight the lab's latest creation. BOSS: Merkava hp:300 mp:30 difficulty: moderate 12. Upon beating the boss, it will explode, destroying the facility. You have 5 minutes to escape before the entire place colapses. Upon returning to the military academy, you will be ranked according to your performance. You started out with 7 points and you needed 15 points to pass the test. When you get back to the instructor, he states that you have either passed or failed the exam. If you fail, you have to take it over. If you pass, you will have to take a final exam before being inducted in. 13. The instructor states that your next task is to enter a team where you have to rendevous with certain spy units set within Dondora. You again set off with Claire in your party. You must go to the harbor within the complex. You'll head to Dondora at night. At night, it will show a little sequence with Miriel looking at the stars. As the ship enters port, you notice that you're going to have to do some sneaking. 14. There are two guards standing by the main entrance looking about. If you run right into their vision range, you'll get into a fight with 2 paladins and will get thrown on the dock again if you lose. You have to sneak along the dock, hiding amongst crates and barrels when a soldier walks by. When you finally reach the back alleys, you have to find a poor man, who will lead you into the door of a tattered old house. It turns out this man is your contact. It turns out that the spy has turned on you, and has burned the information over to the CB Rebellion. Two paladins come out and capture you. 15. When you and Claire wake up, you are in the presence of a shady figure. He tries to get as much information out of you about "the Prodigy," not realizing who Miriel is. You can either answer his questions, or refuse, and you will be put in a cell. At night, two Azure storm troopers come to rescue you. They say that Dondora has come under attack and the war has truely begun. You are returned to the Military Academy. times caught -2credits questions answered -3credits 16. You have been a general for 3 years now, and in your conquests, you have earned much land for the world. You have been put in charge of leading a small battle on the beaches of the Magica Island. It will show you and your troops marching down the beach. Once you get into the battle, you will have to fight several battles, with Claire and a trooper at your side. FIGHT 1: CB soldiers x5 FIGHT 2: CB soldiers x2, Gundarg Dragoons x2 FIGHT 3: CB posse FIGHT 4: CB soldiers x3 BOSS: war mech hp:700 mp: 0 difficulty: moderate BOSS: Marduke hp:160 mp:17 difficulty: easy 17. After the fight with Marduke, he'll order his troops to retreat. After the battle field is abandoned, everybody goes away except Miriel and Claire. Miriel ponders the meaning of the war, and states that she wants out of it. Claire says that she cannot help Miriel if she does so. Stay and examine some of the bodies, where you will find some items and some things that will show Miriel that the soldiers have families. Miriel finally goes back to the castle after watching the bloody shores. 18. You can kinda' go around through the castle, picking certain armor up. If you go to Claire's room, she asks you when you intend to leave. If you don't tell her, you cannot get her in your party later on, but if you do, she will say that she hopes to escape as well some day. Go to your quarters and again pack all your things. 19. When you look go to the dresser, you look in the mirror, and Miriel suddenly realizes that the window is open. As she goes to shut it, a man pops into the room from the window. Miriel grabs for her swords. The man pleads with her and asks that he be allowed to explain himself. Miriel grabs her sword and and yells at the man to get out. The commotion arouses the attention of an adjacent guard, and as he enters the room, the man backs into the window, and then jumps out. The guard yells to get somebody after the man but soon realizes it is futile. The guard asks what was going on and Miriel says she doesn't know. 20. When sneaking out of your room (which is guarded because of the break in), you have to avoid the guards, otherwise they will tell you to go to your room. When you finally enter the main hallway into the castle, you find Gabriel. If you told Claire about your plans, 2 soldiers will be with her. She'll tell you she knows your plans, and won't let you escape, stating that you are too valuable in her plans. She will then initiate a fight with you. BOSS: Gabriel (2x guards) HP:2000 MP:99 DIFFICULTY:impossible After you fall, it shows a cinema sequence. **cinema: As Miriel falls to her knees, both of her swords fall to the floor with a clang. Gabriel laughs and gives an evil grin. She asks Miriel "Who is closer to perfection now?". She then raises her own sword and slashes Miriel down her front side. There is a huge slice running down Miriel's face that is bright red. Gabriel turns around and walks into the shadows. Miriel then has a flash back where she is a little girl dancing in the air.
