It is the type of class the character is. It changes what type of armor they can wear. What are Requirements? The Requirements you must have before you can get that certain character. What can characters wear into battle? Magama's scientists turned the war around with the invention of the Spidermek, a large 5 person tank that stands on eight legs. The new Spidermek's were armed with the lastest weapons such as plasma cannons and dark missles, and ran on a 1000 horsepower engine called the Gear Engine which were powered with Spiderorbs found deep in the Haplan Mines. The regular Comberton tanks could not handle this new, powerful technology so they decided to draw back and surrender. Peace was brought back to the world for 5 years, until the appearance of the Eyenedes. Comberton told the alien race about the war, and they Eyenedes, being evil by nature, decided to help Comberton out. The Eyenedes developed a floating fortress which is it's capitol, called by everyone the Dark Capitol. It floats around the world and drops bombs on anything it is hovering over at the moment. The nation of Magama has been terrorized by this floating menace, and Haplan is not powerful enough to penetrate Comberton's new defense system. It looks like the end of the Peace Era, and King Vixen of Magama has decided there's one last hope. He sends General A. Blinkon to round up troops for to go help the struggling Haplanians in their battles. She lives with her brother Alex, because her parents were kidnapped by the Eyenedes and made into Eyenede soldiers. Alena swears that one day she will help defeat the Eyenedes. However, she can get no backup because she is considered an outcast due to her hate of technology and machines. Her only friends are General A. Blinkon and her brother Alex. She is the master of the dual knife technique. Weapon: knives Age: 17 B-day: June 13 Likes: nature, peace Dislikes: technology, machinery Special: talking with animals Type: fighter Requirements: none __Alex Vinyard__ Alex lives with his sister (above) in the town of Colyn, near the coastline of the Magama continent. He has a ton of friends in Colyn, and all over the world. His current girlfriend is named Valerie Locke, who lives in Merito on the Haplan continent. He is very good friends with General A. Blinkon, and loves to compose, play, and listen to any kind of music. He loves to fiddle around with machinery, and has invented a new weapon called the Power Arm that he likes to use. He hopes one day that he will use his Power Arm to kill the Eyenede leader for kidnapping his parents. She loves writing, singing, and poetry but hates royalty or otherwise stuck-up people. She lives in a School of Healers where she practices her healing magic. Her mother died in an accident, and her father is nowhere to be found but is rumored to be a famous general. She vows someday to find her father and help her boyfriend kill the Eyenede leader. Blinkon__ This 39 year old general has been sent by King Vixen to round up troops to help the Haplanians in their battles on the Comberton continent. He is a dear friend of Alex and Alena. He lives in the largest city on Magama, called Winchester. He was once married to a woman, but divorced her after he joined the Magamian Army at 25 years of age. He is known as the "Silent Fox", because of his many incidents of sneaking up on opponents and killing them. He has killed many Combertonians, but lusts yet for more battle. He hates the Eyenedes with a passion, and will kill any Eyenede on sight. He loves chess and fencing, but has no time for this due to his mission. Weapon: sword Age: 39 B-day: May 29 Likes: chess, fencing Dislikes: (hates) Eyenedes Special: backstabbing Type: fighter Requirements: none __Andy Kraven__ Andy is Alex's best friend, and is the brother of his twin sister Amy. He is in a division of wrestlers called Blitzers, and has been fused with the rare talent of Blitz attacks. He is very muscular and also plays baseball in his spare time, and is very good at hitting. He loves sports, but hates being alone, and is often afraid of it. He is on a quest to find his sister, but in the meantime wants to help Alex kill the Eyenede leader. Weapon: bats and clubs Age: 16 B-day: October 1 Likes: sports, lifting weights Dislikes: loneliness Special: Blitz attacks Type: fighter Requirements: must go to his house and invite him to join you in Colyn __Amy Kraven (secret)__ Amy lives alone somewhere on the Magama continent, practicing the art of Dark magic. Everyone who has seen her has not survived, and anyone who has is now a mindless slave to her magics. She is obsessed with being evil, and hates goody goodies with a passion. Her quest is to one day master Dark magic and seek out her brother... to kill him. She will not, however, side with the Eyenede because her only friend Lisa Van Burace was taken away by them to become a soldier. She wants to one day find her so she can be away from being lonely all the time. She uses a sickle on anyone who is stupid enough to get in the way of her goals... He is one of the only surviving people who know how to use Spiderorbs as weapons, and not fuel for Spidermeks. He loves to smoke, but hates drinking because his father died of an alchoholic overdose. He is hoping to get out of the Comberton dungeon to join A. Blinkon, but it looks like he'll have to wait for Blinkon to come to him... Weapon: Spiderorb Age: 29 B-day: October 19 Likes: smoking Dislikes: drinking Special: Spidermek pilot Type: fighter Requirements: must rescue him from prison __Leo Sappa__ Leo is the son of King Sappa of Haplan, and is in love with the Princess of Magama, Vivian Vixen. He is an expert with his fists, and can fight and win against just about everyone. He loves lifting weights, and tries to show off his muscles to Princess Vixen, but she pays him no attention. He hopes to one day marry Princess Vixen, but is now bent on killing the King of Comberton, King Shadow. He is very stuck-up and hates anything that is dirty. She has no desire whatsoever for the hopeless Prince of Haplan, and is currently seeking a muscular boyfriend to take her away on an adventure. She loves to dig up ancient bones, weapons, armors, tomes, scrolls, and many other things that you would find buried. She is very good with explosives and was once kidnapped by the Eyenedes. She bombed her way out of the Dark Capitol and escaped safely, however. She sometimes thinks about her long lost friend Amy. She likes anyone who is a good excavator and is seeking a boyfriend. Likes: excavating, explosives Dislikes: rude people Special: digging for treasure Type: fighter Requirements: must have Prince Sappa in your party, must find Ancient Relic in excavation mini game __King Vixen__ King Vixen is the King if Magama, and is having trouble with the Dark Capitol of the Eyenedes. His country is in desperate need of troops to fight of the onslaught of Eyenedes and Combertonians, but has found no help. He turns to his most trusted general, A. Blinkon, to go round up some troops to help in battle. __King Sappa__ King Sappa is the King of Haplan, and is currently battling with all of his troops on the Combertonian coastline. He is in desperate need of new technology and troops, for he is slowly losing this battle. He does not think his son is old enough to go into battle, even though some troops are as young as 15 years of age. He and King Vixen are allied, but are still having trouble in the war against Comberton and the mysterious Eyenedes. __Queen of Comberton__ The Queen of Comberton is currently defending her borders against the small army of Haplan. Once she clears out the Haplanian troops, she hopes to sail over and conquer Haplan herself, without the help of the Eyenedes. She has a chip implanted into her head so she cannot leave the Eyenedes sight, for it is a tracking device. The chip makes her constantly have a place in her heart for the leader of the Eyenedes, and he shows some interest in her. She has no mind of her own... __Lampart Linquinyanga__ This is the Eyenede leader that Alex hopes to kill. Little does he know that this is his father, and that he was kidnapped and made leader by the Eyenedes. They have implanted a chip in his head also, but they have also fused the ultimate Spiderorb into his body, giving him the ability to use every magic spell ever created. He has a lust for the Queen of Comberton, and has a funny feeling that they had met before this whole war... ----------------------------- SPECIAL MOVE LIST Special moves are affected by SPE stat and drain MP when used. __Alena Vinyard__ Talking with animals : Her talking with animals level is equal to her experience level. As it goes up, she can get more information out of animals. If the SPE stat is not high enough, sometimes she will misinterpret information given by animals. When she gets to LVL 70 with SPE 80, she can call a Kumberwuzzle to help her in battle. __Alex Vinyard__ Starts with Punch Arm To build machinery, he must buy the proper amount of Material from an Item Shop. Calling Kumberwuzzles (20)- sometimes you can call a Kumberwuzzle (an overgrown house cat) to aid you in battle by attacking the opponent with it's armor piercing claws. Alena has to be LVL 70 with a SPE of 80 to use this skill. __Alex Vinyard__ Building machinery (50)- sometimes you can build some machinery, such as weapons and vehicles, providing you have the proper amount of Material __Valerie Locke__ Healing magic: Heal (5)- heals 200 HP of one ally Cure (5)- cures the poison of one ally Dispel (5)- dispels any status change any ally might have Bless (10)- adds 10 DEF for two rounds of battle Heal All (20)- heals 200 HP of all allies Super Heal (20)- heals 1000 HP of one ally Mega Heal (30)- heals 1000 HP of all allies Buff (15)- adds 10 ATP for two rounds of battle Reflect (15)- reflects any magic spell cast at the person reflect back at the caster Hide (25)- makes person invisible for two rounds of battle Peek (5)- peeks at the enemies HP and MP and their weaknesses Warp (35)- warps caster to beginning of dungeon Bless All (45)- adds 10 DEF to all allies for 2 rounds of battle Holy Word (50)- adds 15 ATP and DEF to all allies for the rest of battle __A. For every level gained, there is a 1% chance more that he will be successful in a Backstab attempt. __Andy Kraven__ Blitz attacks: Take Down (2)- trips opponent to the ground an holds him there Body Slam (5)- picks up opponent over his head and slams him on the ground Tackle (6)- tackles opponent to the ground Hard Tackle (8)- charges and tackles opponent to ground [50% dd of Tackle, Lose Turn] DDT (7)- gets opponent's head in a headlock and makes him fall on his head Brain Buster (10)- vertically picks up opponent and drops him on his head Pile Driver (15)- turns opponent upside down and drops him on his head Power Bomb (20)- picks up opponent and drops him on his back Mega Bomb (23)- a running Power Bomb Blitz Bomb (28)- a running jumping Power Bomb Mega Blitz (35)- picks up opponent upside down and drops him on the back of his neck Fury (60)- does all of the above moves in succession __Amy Kraven__ Dark magic: Vortex (5)- a tornado spins the opponent around Dark Lash (8)- a whip made of dark matter lashes out at the opponent Black Hole (13)- the opponent is blasted with the power of a black hole Wind of Death (16)- causes enemies skin to deteriorate Life Transfer (20)- sucks 200 HP out of opponent and gives it to her Evil Word (25)- lowers 15 ATP and DEF on all enemies Dark Bomb (25)- makes a bomb out of dark matter and drops it on the enemy Dark Missile (28)- makes a missile out of dark matter and blasts enemy Transform (35)- transforms enemies into harmless animals Death Bomb (40)- just like a Dark Bomb, except twice as big Succumb (65)- sucks opponent into a void, killing them instantly __Sid Garme__ Sid can drive ANY Spidermek or Airship, no matter what level he is. It costs no MP for him to use these skills, providing he is carrying 4 Spiderorbs. __Leo Sappa__ Lifting heavy objects: Lifting boulders (10)- lifts a large boulder and throws it aside Punch down hollow wall (15)- can punch down any hollow wall (that makes a wierd noise when you tap on it) Punch down wooden wall (30)- can punch down any wooden wall to get to a room or treasure Punch down any wall (50)- you can punch down any wall to access a room or get a treasure __Vivian Vixen__ Mystic abilities: These cost no MP for her because she was born with these abilities. Telepathy- has a 25% chance of telling the thinking of any living being Transform- transforms any enemy into a harmless creature Destroy- can destroy boulders or hollow walls Teleport- see Warp Kill- has a 75% chance of killing opponent Steal- can steal an item from an enemy in battle ESP- can tell the thinking of any living thing Invisibility- turns party invisible which lowers encounter rate __Lisa Van Burace__ All of Lisa's SPE moves are self explanatory. ----------------------------- WEAPON LIST You can buy weapons from Equipment Shops. Blinkon then leaves the house and walks to his room upstairs in the Vinyards' house. Alex and Alena head to their room, and Mrs. Vinyard falls asleep on the couch. You wake up and you are controlling A. Blinkon. If you walk downstairs first and wake up Mrs. Vinyard, she will give you 500 GP for the trip. Then go to Alex and Alena's room and wake them up, and they join your party. You then cut to an anime cut scene where Mrs. Vinyard hugs her children and tells A. Blinkon and Co. to be careful etc, etc. Then it goes back to normal play and you can walk around town. Everyone is equipped with their starting weapons and A. Blinkon has a Mythril Plate and Mythril Hat on. Go north and you will find the Fungi Cave, which you have to pass through to get to the northern part of the continent. You should win, and then try to exit the cave. A huge pile of blue jelloey goop falls from the ceiling into your path. If you go straight north you'll hit Winchester. Go in and you find that it is a HUGE city with many shops and houses. Smack dab in the middle is the castle. Blinkon will request a visit with the King himself. While you are waiting in the deserted courtyard, the King comes out along with two Royal Guards. The following text will appear: King: Hail General! How goes it? Blinkon: Mmmm, fine, sire. I have 3 people to help me in my search, sire. Alex, Alena, and Andy. (At the same time they all bow and Alena curtseys) King: Thank you. Now, I have send the last of our troops and stationed them at the port town of Taran. Hopefully they can pick up a few hundred extra soldiers... Blinkon: Yes, hopefully, sire. King: So what did you come for? Blinkon: You know, sire, that Ashron is under siege by 2000 Comberton soldiers. Do you have at least 1000 extra soldiers at your disposal that I can use? King: Yes, but that will leave me with 500 troops guarding this city.... Please hurry General. I will send you the 1000 best troops for you to use. Now, go rest and I'll send you on your way in the morning. Blinkon: Thank you, sire. (bows) (end of text) Now you automatically walk to a room in the castle and fall asleep. You wake up and walk back to the courtyard. The King has gathered 1000 troops here. Blinkon tells them he's their General now, and lays out the rules. Then the scene is ended and the screen goes black. The next thing that happens is an FMV showing Blinkon and the crew trudging along in the heat. The soldiers appear exhausted.... You finally appear nearby Ashron, and you see the some of the enemy has snuck around the mountains or something and have camped on the east side of the city. You have 2 choices, to move out as fast as possible, or to move as usual and save energy. The second choice requires you to guard your rear with 100 soldiers. There is always a 40% chance the enemy will spot you and attack every "step" (every block you walk on, if you know what I mean. People in RPG's seem to find it impossible to walk inbetween fields and grassy places.) on the field. If you are attacked here are the stats: 100 Magamian Soldiers (seperate stats) HP: 30 MP: 0 ATP: 25 DEF: 30 50 Combertonian Soldiers (seperate stats) HP: 40 MP: 0 ATP: 20 DEF: 25 Now, if you battle, this will obviously be your first full scale battle in this game. This shouldn't be too hard. Before you battle, you have to assign generals for each command. There are four commands in a full scale battle: Charge: charges all infantry and soldiers at enemy Shoot: bombard enemy with bows, guns, and cannons Magic: have a magic user commands all the wizards to fire magic at the enemy Retreat: retreat from the battle Blinkon should be in the Charge general slot. Since you have no archers, wizards, or thieves, you cannot put a general in command of the Shoot, Magic, and Retreat slots. The only thing you can do in this battle is engage with the enemy. At the most, you might lose 30 men per battle. Once you arrive to Ashron, you should buy the best available equipment and spells. The go to the barracks in the borth part of town and recruit your soldiers, and choose your officers for the coming battles. Valerie can lead Magic or Shoot, but only one at a time, and cannot switch during battle. Blinkon should still lead Charge. Now either Shoot or Magic and Retreat are leftover. Here are the troops: 1500 Magamian Soldiers (seperate stats) HP: 30 MP: 0 ATP: 25 DEF: 30 Engage- engages enemy in hand to hand combat Hit and Run- surprises enemy with a small "raid" and runs (lose less soldiers, but not as much damage to enemy) 75 Royal Archers (seperate stats) HP: 25 MP: 0 ATP: 20 DEF: 20 Fire!- shoots arrows as usual towards the enemy, doing regular damage and keeping up defense Bombard- bombards the enemy with arrows, doing more damage but leaving themselves vulnerable to other archers [25% more damage, lowers defense by 15] 30 Royal Wizards (seperate stats) HP: 15 MP: 100 ATP: 5 DEF: 10 Spells- (mana per wiz) Fire Blast (5)- takes out 3 enemy soldiers Ice Storm (10)- takes out 5 enemy soldiers Rock Shower (15)- takes out 7 enemy soldiers Poison Cloud (20)- takes out 15 enemy soldiers FEAR (30)- makes 40 enemy soldiers run away [75% chance] You're probably thing bleheheheheeee.... Well you shouldn't cause the enemy has back up. They now have: 2100 Combertonian Soldiers (serperate stats) HP: 40 MP: 0 ATP: 20 DEF: 25 Engage- see above Rage Engage- +10 ATP -10 DEF for one battle turn 100 Royal Cavalry HP: 60 MP: 0 ATP: 35 DEF: 35 Charge- regular attack Unrelentless Attack- makes ATP go up to 60, loses all DEF 50 Enchanted Bowmen HP: 30 MP: 0 ATP: 25 DEF: 10 Lob- regular attack 50 Dark Mages HP: 20 MP: 100 ATP: 10 DEF: 10 Spells- (mana per wiz) Looming Cloud (10)- lowers enemies troops DEF by 5 for a battle turn Acid Rain (20)- takes out 15 enemy soldiers Bloodlust (25)- makes all allied soldiers have +10 ATP for one battle turn Hell on Earth (40)- takes out 40 enemy soldiers, but lowers allied soldiers DEF by 5 for one turn Now, the battle should be tough, but it's nothing to the battles ahead. At least you have a wall to hide behind here. OK, the best bet is to put Valerie in charge of your archers. You have the first turn. You should wait until they scale the walls before engaging in hand to hand. Have your Royal Archers Fire! upon the Dark Mages, with luck it will take all of them out. Now have your wizards cast a spell on the enemy soldiers, most likely the FEAR spell will work the best. Now move your troops into a defensive position, soldiers V-like in lines, archers behind them, and mages behind them. Now, the enemy will move their soldiers closer to your wall first. If they have any leftover mages they randomly cast spells, each spell having a 25% chance of being cast that turn. The Bowmen will Lob some arrows onto your precious few soldiers, and will kill maybe about 50 of them. Shrug it off. They will most likely move they're cavalry out of your bowshot, to ensure that they do not get harmed in battle... yet. Now it's your turn. Your best chance is to just rain some arrows on the enemy bowmen and cast FEAR again on the enemy soldiers. Now the turrets are in range of doing some damage. Each of your turrets (2 of em) shoots out a glob of arrows and kills about 100 enemy troops a shot. Helpful, huh? Now they will scale the wall after your turn is done and attack your soldiers with theirs. You may lose up to 200 men, they might lose up to 200 also. They will move they're cavalry outside the town gates and wait for the soldiers to unlock the gates so they can join the fray, most likely next turn. The remnants of their bowmen will call it a day and retreat, giving you the opportunity to do some major damage to their soldiers. Turrets, bye 200 more enemies. Archers kill 50 more, mages cast FEAR, 75 more possibly running like dogs. Now Engage them with your soldiers. The numbers should be in your favor now. They will lose a possible 300 men, with you possibly losing 150 or so. Their turn. Here comes the cavalry! They will Charge in and completely obliterate your archers or mages. The soldiers will Rage Engage you, possibly killing up to 250 of your men but losing up tp 350 of theirs. Your turn again. Turrets. Bye 50 Cavalry! Use whatevers left of your range units to hopefully kill about 30 more cavalry and Engage the soldiers again. The battle is swinging in your favor, and you should probably figure out the rest. Now that you have defeated some evil legions, A. Blinkon and Valerie will gain a cool level for commanding forces and the Captain of the Guard will hand you something depending on your preformance: 400 or more troops left- Magama's Prize, 2 Plate Mails, Royal Robe, Royal Meal 300-399 troops left- 2 Plate Mails, Royal Robe, Royal Meal 200-299 troops left- 2 Chain Mails, Royal Meal 100-199 troops left- Chain Mail, Free Stay Coupon ----------------------------- AREA AND CITY DESCRIPTIONS Name: Colyn Loc: Deep South on the continent of Magama Description: Colyn was first actually founded as a prisoners expellion place. Many prisoners used to live here until King Vixen was elected by the people. He decided to kill all the bandits and prisoners and replace them with self sufficient, good people. This was the only cruel unjust act King Vixen has made in his rule. Name: Fungi Cave Loc: A little north of Colyn Description: This is a man made cave, including the creatures inside. It was placed here to keep the prisoners from escaping the town of Colyn and going north back to Winchester. Soldiers escorted the bandits to their expellion place through this cave. Name: Winchester Loc: Northern tip of Magama Description: Winchester is the second largest city in the world, right behind Merito on the Haplan continent. It is filled with shops, taverns, inns, and not to mention lots of thugs and robbers. Watch that wallet! King Vixen watches over the town while pondering the nation's problems from his castle tower in the middle of the city. The city has never been conquered. Name: Ashron Loc: West of Winchester Description: Ashron is a nice sized city filled with life. Hardly any crime is found here. It is in the pass of impassable mountains and therefore is THE key city to conquer to get to Winchester. The walls are at least 50 feet high, and archers always stand at the ready in case of invasion. The gates are made of mythril and has stood up to many invasions throughout the years. Soldiers are often trained here. Legend says that a whole cave full of gold is hidden somewhere under the city, and that may be just why the city was founded (that and to protect Winchester). Name: Taran Loc: A little northwest of Winchester Description: Taran is always the busiest city on Magama, being the only port town. This town is the only way to ship supplies to Comberton and Haplan to supply troops with weapons, armor, and food. It is heavily guarded by Fort Gannonshot which boasts 50 cannons that can sink a fleet of armored boats. There are also several thousand soldiers stationed here. Name: Blue Blade Camp Loc: directly east of Winchester Description: More like a population of tents than buildings, BBC is the home of the bandits. No army dares to come near the camp because of the expert assassin's living here. They can pick out a fly from 20 feet away woth their trusty crossbows. They will never miss their flies, much less a target in their sights. The only noticable building here is the 30 foot tall wooden tower keeping watch over the camp. Name: Merito Loc: Northeastern tip of Haplan Description: Merito is a massive city, houses hundreds of thousands of people. It is the most heavily guarded city in the world, due to the Red Blade Camp nearby and the often invading Combertonian army. This is one of the to port towns on Haplan and is also the capitol of Haplan. The Headquarters of Haplanian Military is located here along with the secret underground School of Magic. King Sappa lives here in a massive castle by the sea, which also serves as a fort, boasting 30 cannons. Name: Mirage Desert Loc: covers the whole center of Haplan Description: This is a huge desert, covering most of Haplan with it's heat and dryness. The Red Blade Camp is settled in the northeastern part of the desert. Nothing really here of interest except the ruins located in the center. They are said to have created the desert and legend has it that the magical powers within are making the desert grow even larger. Name: Red Blade Camp Loc: Northeastern part of Mirage Desert Description: See Blue Blade Camp Name: Majik Loc: southern tip of Haplan Desc: This is the only other town on Haplan, and is also a port town. It is not very big, and is a sleepy town unless in times of war. Right now, it is busy secretly shipping Haplanian soldiers to the Comberton coastlines. Surrounded by mountains, it is very well protected. Two towers with archers guard the entrance. Name: Dino Ruins Loc: center of Mirage Desert Desc: The Dino Ruins are like stonehenge on the outside, and has a door in the very center of the circle that leads underground. No one has ever explored the ruins except for once, and the explorer was never seen again. Lisa Van Burace prays everyday that she might one day be asked to excavate and study here. Name: Haplan Mines Loc: a TAD south of Merito Desc: Haplan Mines are a used-to-be-busy-but-not-anymore area. This supplied the legendary Spiderorbs to Magama's now lost Spidermek's. Only a few people mine here anymore. Name: Comberton Coastline Citadel (CCC) Loc: southeastern coastline of Comberton Desc: CCC is much like Magama's Taran city except that it is populated by Combertonians. It is currently under siege by the Magamian and Haplanian armies. The CCC has held up good so far, only losing one of it's 5 walls to the enemy in the 2 months of siege, but how much longer can it last? Name: Shadow Castle Loc: Most northern part on Comberton Desc: ????? (Never been seen by a Magamian or Haplanian...) Name: Dark Capitol Loc: In the air, floats around the world Desc: The Dark Capitol is the headquarters of all of this madness lead by the Eyenedes. The floating isle is powered by engines that use magic stones grown on the magic farms for fuel. The actual castle covers the whole right side of the isle, with the village on the lower left and the massive magic farms on the upper left of the isle. The magic farms are well protected by War Machines, the Eyenedes main defense weapon. The castles walls are made of mythril and the gate of titanium, and the walls are at least 60 feet high and can never be broken down due to them being mythril. The mythril walls are compounded with rock found in the Earth, dried lava, and is supported by laces of titanium and aluminum. The Eyenede leader houses himself in the dead center of the castle, being guarded by the best military machines on Earth.
