Ignore the mindless intro and listen to this: WHAZZUP?! has been updated with four new ones, and one that is actually worth watching! The Swamp now has its first Shockwave Flash splash page! Rejoice, then rejoice with your friends! FILLER SPACE: According to Serpent, I've "changed." That could be so. I just don't feel like pleasing all audiences anymore (I am just changing audiences, really. The old audience hates me, and the new audience will love me. Is this true?).

Sunday, SUNDAY, SUNDAAY!, May 7th -- This kid's gonna have a heart attack when he finds out he's not funny. With all the great sites like ToastyFrog, RockeT CanyoN, and not-as-great sites like Lobsterboy's Page, a site such as this becomes envious. And embarrased. I look at all the old stuff and old updates we've done, and I say: O_o We're so cheesy, we could put California out of business. We have to improve, but I'm not sure how. Maybe swear a lot more.

Ahh... WHAZZUP?!... the best Budweiser ad campaign since the last one. It's created such a commotion on the net that we've opened a shrine to it, along with some VERY BAD parodies I made. I thought I'd stop at just one, but other people told me to make others. Start with my best one so the others look even worse. I gave the wandering Sound Clips page a home on the menu. Finally. Sunday, SUNDAY, SUNDAAY!, April 30th -- WHAZZAAAAAP!!! Hey-hey-hey! Serpent231 (!) here, and I've gotta give mad props to AtW for holding the fa--er, fort up while I was gone! *takes out an angry broom, vase, and coffee table, and sets them loose on JeffreyAtW* Okay, now that that's done, I'd like to say that most of my absence was due to laziness, lack of computer time, my sister's dog chewing up a modem cord (seriously!), or all of the above. However, since I'm BACK (sorta), I've got some actual content to put up but due to the "new 'n improved" style of updates though I'm gonna make this as short as I can even though I've already started rambling in the opener oh I've gone cross-eyed.

I got so many 231 Sightings over the time that I was "gone", I'm only gonna put some of them up so this update won't be too *gasp* BIG! I also wrote a wacky up review of an even wackier game that everybody should play... Mr. Nutz! Added Mr. T vs. Generic Guy to Misc. Stuff, a mildly funny "Mr. T vs." episode that I did for a French project! Updated Ye Olde Staffe Infoe ... Added a few links : One to another RPG humor site that was spawned off of Cosmo Canyon (yay!), and the rest to the funniest gosh damn movie files out there, the "Wazzup?" commercials (and spinoffs)! Hope you liked the new splash image ! Wow, that's two images that have made fun of Canada...and I'm half Canadian! Boy, am I evil. FILLAAAA! Currently, my parents are looking for a RUG SHAMPOOER~! (inside joke between me, AtW and Caires...I think you can see where this is going). Can you believe the number of kids who know the words to "The Real Slim Shady"?! Not that I don't like the song, but...hey, I'm talking 11, 12 year olds who don't even understand half of the stuff Eminem says! At least it's not the case of "Bad Touch" or "Voulez-Vous Coucher Avec Moi?", where the kids didn't understand any of the lyrics. Dast eez all. Note from Ragnarok, who usually doesn't post updates here: You're forgetting one thing. My 17 th birthday was the 27 th . DAST eez all.

Wednesday, April 26th -- Back to School, Back to School... To prove to Serpent he's a fool... he got a bad grade on his test, and is restricted from the computer. But Uncie Jeffrey is here with a nice, juicy update! Now if only I can remember what's new...

BobCFed08 has sent in loads o' stuff, including two new reviews : Final Fantasy Tactics , and Lufia II . Bob also sent us a new Funny Screenshot . On a side note, I personally don't like this screenshots section because you can find the exact same stuff at ZVGQ , but we may delete all the unoriginal stuff. Or, we may contribute our original stuff, get rid of the whole page, and be done with it. Hmm... I relocated the lost Waves section to the Misc. Stuff section, and added a new one by Thuh Captain . A new link to another RPG Humor Site. A new splash page with the ideal North America as we envision it.

Saturday, April 22nd -- 4OUR 2WENTY PPZ!!!!!!! Well, 4:20 went along nicely, with no school shootings to top it off! Hooray!

Ragnarok saves the day again. Now, for all you Internet Explorer 5 people, if you bookmark any page of the Swamp (YOU HAVEN'T?), a cute little Oynx icon will pop up beside it. Ragnarok also did his share of link changin' and character page updatin'. I added a funny image sent to me by Ragnarok, to the Pictures section. BobCFed08, now a former Windorian (buh bye, Skan U_U) has sent us his review on Breath of Fire II , yet another good game. We need more reviews of bad games, people! FILLA' SPACE: After such a long streak of updates, and the Swamp moving to my server, it's easy to see that I've become the real owner of the Midgar Swamp. Of course, that doesn't mean that Serp's leaving, just the fact that I'm more devoted than HE is... don't really expect any changes, though. I promise.

Friday, April 14th -- School's... out... for... spring. Ah... 9 1/2 days of pure nothingness... I'm wasting it doing this, but that should be a good thing. BTW, I'm breaking the streak of really big updates, and going back to basics!

Ragnarosen 's turned " Slave to the Face ," from the MST of Rude Awakening , into song form. He also made a midi of it. It's amazing that this wasn't thought of earlier... I updated my staff info, and I changed my logo ! I added a link to a neato list of Final Fantasy name origins.

Wednesday, April 12th -- Tripod? Isn't that what a video camera sits on? We've finally done it... we're off of Tripod! Of course, we're off of Tripod in exchange for a little bigger local name, but hell, we've got 4.7 gigs of free space, and a pretty fast download/upload speed, too! Know why? The Midgar Swamp is now served off my computer!

The splash page's updated, now with a cool parody of ToastyFrog , starring Oynx! I've really done it this time... Steve Caires' legendary Untitled sound has been updated by me! It's got Ride of the Valkyries in the background, adding 200% of the mood. Thursday, April 6th -- Ahahahaha! Remember the good ol' days when we used to update, like, every other day? Well, those probably will never be coming back, but I'm gonna makie this updatie as smallie as I wantie! Ahahahaha! :P

The splash screen features my desktop. That's right! You can take a look at what I'm doing, whether it be homework, ICQin' and AIM'in, website makin, or p04|\| ! 231 Sightings updated with ONE new one by me! For MIDI of the Day, it's Pardon Me by Incubus, and sequenced by me! I'm getting really good at this stuff. Maniacal Laughs updated. ThuA hAHA HAHA!!! FILLER SPACE: Serpent's and my quarrel is over, but the bad part is that I can't make any more jokes about Serpent-- OW! REALLY good news... my computer magically set itself up to be a server (when I installed the webcam software) SO... the Swamp could be MOVING! And what's more, it could be moving to a site with 4GB free space, 500KPBS bandwith, and no ads! Actually, it already HAS moved, and you can visit the new location here , but it won't be really official until April 12, when I've made up my mind. What's more, this is the kicker, MY computer will be the server! You'll actually be downloading stuff from my computer. Isn't that an honor?

Friday, March 31st -- Okay, how d'you like THIS? All right, since you all hated me for duping the Blue and Green scheme and going with that damn metallic border, I decided to dupe that as well and go back to Blue and Green . But... It's a bit neater, with a darker blue color and a brighter green color. I think you like it. Am I right?

Duh... splash screen changed a little, if you know what I mean... 231 Sightings have been split into four pages, so you don't have to wait for the annoying old ones. Links updated, with the first ever link to a phone number. Oh yeah, I forgot that Ragnarok made a song parody of YMCA: The Midgar Swamp. Good joob, Roognoorook. FILLER SPACE: Serpent and I are going through a phase. Or, at least Serpent. Steve Caires (I'm not going to say what he's done anymore) and I like to pull pranks and jokes on Serpent when he's in a perverted mood (his most recent accomplishment: "Magic Johnson"), online and offline. Actually, I've been repeatedly making a fool of Serpent on The IAQ Club , and he's been flaming me as a response. Actually, he told everyone that I stay up after midnight and download fRee pIx oF CHu-ChU off my cable modem, but instead of getting humiliated, Steve and I made a song about me (sung to that patriotic flute song): Heeeeee's aaaaaaaa.... Saturday, March 25th -- How d'you like it? Yep, we've overhauled the site and turned it into this metallic piece of crap. It took some debating and around seven packs of Mountain Dew, but we've decided to dupe the Blue and Green scheme and go with something that fit the neato metallic border. We'll be tweaking it, so if you don't like it, you can sure as hell tell us.

We have another award , and we've got so many of them that we decided to open an Awards showcase! BobCFed08 has sent us his first IAQ: The Engineers' Guild . It's also Windor-based, like mine. We have a new poll. You can actually tell us what you think of this "sleek" new design. Updated my Staff Stuff . Changed the FAQ so it doesn't comply with the... Here's what you'd call the stinger. The friendly folks at RPG Frontier have parodied our site! They call it the Midgar Slums . I'll explain more, down in the: FILLER SPACE: Okay, here's the scoop. In a fun ol' chat with the people of RPG Frontier, I explained Serpent's undying lust for the number 231 (and Fritz). Someone must've taken that the wrong way (or maybe the right way, the way I was explaining) and they decided to parody our site. Well, this was only one of the attributes to the reason we revamped the Swamp. Don't expect BIG BIG BIG changes, but... no more happy eye-hurting blue and green color scheme. We understand the Fritz made a fanfic about it, but as they say (preferrable Bob and Margaret on Comedy Central), blue and green don't mix. Probably the same reason Fritz titled the bad song after it. By the way, don't go and flame RPG Frontier. The Slums weren't supposed to even get out into public, but it did, and so they got their just desserts. Don't make it any harder on them, m'kay? It's that time again... when we apologize for not updating the Swamp in a few weeks. Well, first of all, no one really cares anymore, and second of all, needless to say, we have lives, too. But here's another Swamp promise... We promise not to apologize anymore about not updating frequently.

Saturday, March 4th -- My ears! My EARS! The WORST MIDI POSSIBLE! (tm) contest has ENDED! We've had SEVEN, count'em, seven entries! That's almost half of the entries for the Jade Monkey contest! Not too shabby! Okay, maybe it is.

M'kay. Well, the main attraction of this update is the contest results. Not only that, but we've opened up a new section: Contests . So, here're the results ! Ragnarok has changed the HTML tags around just a bit more. FILLER SPACE: Ahh... life is so very, very sweet. Today the best thing since I got a new computer happened: I got cable modem service! Can't you feel the energy pulsing through every word? That is the power of AT&T @Home! Hoo boy... Also, Serp and I went to the first track meet of the new millenium today... he didn't do that hot but I did TERRIBLE... but it seems I was having a better time. Hmph. That's attitude for ya. I'm now playing Seiken Dentesu 3, probably the most fun RPG I've ever played! That's all, y'all! Word, um, out 'n' stuff.

Friday, March 3rd -- Hot carp! Uh, it's been a while, hasn't it? :( > Yeah, you're right, wise man. It's time to get ill...er, updated (pointless little Beastie Boys reference for yas there). I've just been helluvabusy with track and field and homework and my Best of Loveline tape and my ROMs and my watching of a WWF Pay Per View where one of the two wrestlers who wrote a book dropped about 15 frickin' feet from a steel cage above the ring. That's definetely going on my highlights video... All right, I'm rambling. I'll just leave you to read the OTHER part of these updates...the Blue One.

Hey-hey! Blue update here, and I'm ready to check off all the shiznit that be goin' down in my hood! Um...word to your mother! A'ight, a'ight, those 231 Sightings have been updated for your time-wasting pleasure. So have those wacky Add Ons . You're just lucky that I didn't add an "H" to one of those previous words... AtW and I wrote a pointless little bio to the newest superstar to hit the RPG Humor scene: Mr. Tifa ! I think you can smell what we're cookin'... New YAK in da hizooooouuuse:  Azure Sky ! It sounds kinda generic at first, but actually, this guy's actually trying to make this into an actual game. Whoo, I say "actual" too much. Next up, an old 5K001 YAK (also known as IAQ, whatever that is) has been updated as well: BREAD ! (also known as Pain ). Funny screenshots updated with dem funny screenshots . Heyyy...I just thought of a new feature to add to updates! Besides sound effects and "Sunday Sunday SUNDAY! ", we'll add a section called "FILLER TIME!" when we're done with the actual substance part of the update, and just want to make the thing look bigger with news, random facts, and other cool junk. Wednesday, March 1st -- Ah, the good ol' days... Yes, the days when we used to update this site at least twice a week, when our humor wasn't as repetitive (well, Serpent's, anyway), and when we actually had enough free time to do anything... well, needless to say, times have changed. But hey, wouldn't a newcomer to this site just be way too overwhelmed if we updated too often? Think of it THAT way!

All right, foistly, the PS2 is coming out on Friday (in Japan, that is)! All rejoice! If you do not buy this fine piece of hardware once it is released in America, I will personally come to your house, rip your cerebrum out through your tear gland, submerge it in Castrol oil, and jackhammer it into the space between your eyes! BTW, I'm not joking. Sing with me: FIVE - THOU - SAND - HIIIIITS!!! *disco music plays and dies quickly* And do you know what the saddest thing is? I was the 5000th visitor. U_U Buuuut... I got a pic of it for your viewing pleasure! Stüssy sez : Huh huh... pleasure... It's also too bad that we didn't reach 5000 on this Friday (PS2 is coming out, just so ya know). Speaking about hit counters, last Friday (PS2 countdown was seven days) Ragnarok spent his precious time making us a beautiful blue and green counter, since the last one zonked (say that last word again with me... ZONK. ZONK ZONK zNKNOZNO) out. Also, for all you IE4+ users, Ragnarok added even more Javascript into the pages for a cool hover effect on all the links! I've posted about this on the board, but the Midgar Swamp's WORST MIDI POSSIBLE (tm) contest is coming to an end on the release date of the PS2 (it's Friday, BTW). Everyone roll up what you're doing, and hope you don't get first prize! We have many, many 231 Sightings, but Serpent (yeah, he's still alive too) asked to put them up himself. Maybe he'll do it on Friday (PS2~!!!!!1) Of course, I'm giving credit to Steve Caires (or Thuh Captain, maker of Sounds From Hell, Don't Go There, Untitled, 3 1/2 Nougats of Crack, blah blah Blah Blah BLAH ) for partially drawing our wonderful new splash screen image! It features his very own character, Captain Winkey, and it's a neat little spoof of Captain Morgan Run advertisements! And what do you know, he drew it last Friday (one week before the PS2 comes out)! For the MIDI of the day, we have the Bum Bum Song! I decided to make a MIDI of it many Fridays (day of PS2 release! Yeah, baby!) ago but gave up, and then decided to keep working on it (mostly because I heard a crappy MIDI version of it and said "Hell, I can do better"), so don't think for a second that I like old music (even though I do). I just altered a link in the Links page, the Kingdom of Windor has moved a couple Fridays ago (PlaaaayStaaation Twoooo)... There's a link on the Fanfics page to Fritz latest work: UM! JAMMER! Tuesday, February 8th -- Wah. Here I am with another one of those cute, small updates. :)

Well, first, a bit of news. I have officially changed my nickname! This is VERY important for those of you at home. I have changed from JeffreyATW to JeffreyAtW. The lowercase "t" gives me a bit more of the SlEeK sPuM essence. Okay. For James's wonderful little new MIDI contest, where you are challenged to create the WORST MIDI POSSIBLE (tm) , I have created another example. Now, you may feel envious about the SkIlZ I put into this MIDI, but don't fear. Unless Ragnarosen or Tyvek Linhaal enters into this contest, you have nothing to worry about. Oh yeah, the example. It's called " 3 And a Half Nougats of Crack ", and it's actually a remix of the original song created by master composer, Thuh Captain (a.k.a. Steve Caires, The Creator Of Don't Go There, etc.) . Don't ask about the name. All right, 231 Sightings updated. To top this update off, we've got a new little tHanG going: a new Archives list! This one's for the title images , but don't think we're going to update the title image EVERY update. BTW, the most recent (and utterly hilarious) one was created by former MST'er Max Morgunov (Yes, he is the kid who dies in MCMSRPGIAQ .) Oh yes, two more bits of news... our secondary server, sentra.tripod.com , was down a day or two ago. It's nothing to worry about (even though it FREAKED THE $#!% out of us). Any broken images or links are back up. Also, did Tom Green's wonderful song "I'm Throwing the Piggies Off the Hill" go unnoticed?

First off, note the new flame-alicious splash page parody that I took the duty upon myself to post! Remember, all comments (Or flames, as it will be) are to be directed towards here ! God, Serpent is going to kill me for this...... Here's a bit of Chrono Cross art that I made, and until The GIA finally posts it onto their lovely Sketch Artist section! Friday, January 21 -- OHHHH YEAAAHH!!! That phrase I just said will soon be forgotten, as FF9 takes FF8's place in the sun. That's right... FFIX, X, and XI are coming. For a full report, don't delay, go to the GIA !

This update was mostly made possible by that groundbreaking news, but we have a couple other things. Ragnarok updated his bio , and he added a title image for the Archives Um... I made a new title image... Uh, I udpdated my staff info a bit... Updated the Page FAQ with some EXTREMELY important questions. Darn. I guess that's it. Well, still, you must be overjoyed that three new FF's are coming. In FFIX, Castles are back, classic airships, anime-style characters, MP, black mages, *four* characters in a party... happy days are here at last.

Wednesday, December 29th -- Boy, I've been updating the site too much... well, it just's rolling out the red carpet for Serpent's... UPDATE OF THE MILLENIUM!

Ragnarok changed the Links section oh so slightly. If you can find the change, uh, get a life. ^_^ I added a new little Javascript tag to every page that makes all the links lose their underlines. They reappear when you put your mouse over them. NiFtEe, huh? I beat FF8! I have to say, they were right about the ending! (I'll leave that up to you to find out what that means.) Yet ANOTHER low-quality MET2K . Boy, I gotta improve my MSTing Skee-ills... A new short song , called Squall ! It's just a verse, though. Another thingy about Squall: a short fanfic called Squall, the Ghetto Hero . It's really small, but hilarious. Viewer discretion advised. To be politically correct, you could say, I've updated the Page FAQ with the REAL creator of 231. A little present for y'alls, this one's made by me and Serpent: try to catch Mr. Boot!

Saturday, December 26th -- Happy Birthday to me! ^_______^! I got cool presents. Money from some people, some cool books from some people, a Diamond Rio MP3 player, and a box of Quaker Oats oatmeal from Serpent! Well, hidden amidst the oatmeal was WipeOut 3 for PlayStation. But that'dsh shome goooood oatmeal...

I changed the title screen once again, to our new millenium title screen! It's smaller, it's got a sleek design, and it's made in PHOTOSHOP! I also deleted the FF9 section. It was not that informative, and it was just taking up space. Instead, it's replaced with a not-yet-active link to the Archives, a feature coming soon to the Midgar Swamp! I beat FF5! It's won my heart as the BEST Final Fantasy! Me and my good friend Mikosi made some MST's , going by the title Mystery Esper Theater 2000! I finally updated the staff picture , replacing Lady Marrah with Ragnarok, in the exact same pose! 231 Sightings updated!
